Jakob Mackanych is a junior at UC Berkeley studying Data Science, Conservation and Resource Studies, and Accounting. Jakob has been drawn to the mountains and outdoor adventure for as long as he can remeber cultivating a passion for outdoor gear over his lifetime. Jakob was a ski coach in Lake Tahoe, California where he experienced first hand how important dependable gear was for the next generation of adventure athletes. Jakob hopes to pursue a career in accounting or consulting after graduating. Jakob is interested in creating unique business strategies that leverage data and accounting knowledge to create socially responsible business strategies. When Jakob is not studying or working on his company he enjoys golfing, skiing, reading, spending time with friends, and planning his next adventure.

Patrick Yun is a content creator and marketing professional driven by a passion for creative storytelling. After graduating from Lehigh University, Patrick ventured into the ski industry in northern California, where he honed his skills in social media strategy and video creation, working with companies like Flylow Gear and RMU. Patrick then transitioned into marketing at a destination management organization. This opportunity allows him to blend his expertise in digital creation with his passion for showcasing the beauty and fostering stewardship of the North Tahoe region. He is dedicated to leveraging his skills in social media strategy and video production to make a meaningful impact by connecting with audiences, inspiring them, and improving engagement.

Razom for Ukraine (Razom) is a leading US-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the mission of supporting a democratic and prosperous Ukraine. With a robust international network of volunteers and partners, Razom, which means “together” in Ukrainian, provides humanitarian aid and administers programs and services focused on health, advocacy, civil society, and culture. Following the full-scale Russian invasion in February 2022, Razom leveraged its years-long partnership-building with NGOs and allies to quickly mobilize an emergency response to save lives with an eye toward victory and continued building and rebuilding. At this time, our advocacy program expanded and continues to be a major force for Ukraine in the government affairs space in Washington, DC.
